How To Become More Courageous

Courage is going forward in spite of your fear. It is being willing to risk failure and rejection. In order to do this, you must break through your comfort zone. Your comfort zone is where everything is familiar and part of your comfortable routine. There is no risk of failure in your comfort zone. There is also no growth. This is why a wise person once said, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
Your God given dream is never in your comfort zone. To pursue your dream/vision you must leave your comfort zone. You must take action in spite of your fear, if you are to accomplish your dream. The dream/vision exists on the other side of your comfort zone along with new life, enthusiasm, satisfaction and purpose. Here are some inspiring quotes that will encourage you to live with courage:
“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
-Edward Everett Hale
“The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people.”
-Napoleon
“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”
-Martin Luther King Jr.
“The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.”
-William James
“The chief danger in life is that you may take too many precautions.”
-Alfred Adler
“You’re born an original, don’t die a copy.”
-John Mason
“Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.”
-Edmund Burke
